About

Savannah Harmon is one of the most coveted defencemen in professional women's hockey. The Chicago native was selected 5th overall by Ottawa in the inaugural PWHL Draft.

Harmon has represented USA Hockey on the international stage in multiple tournaments since 2019. She has competed in three IIHF World Championships, earning a gold medal in 2023 and silver ones in 2021 and 2022, in addition to an Olympic silver medal she took home in 2022. Harmon was the star of the PWHL Showcase throughout the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, picking up a hat-trick and two assists in the Team King vs. Team Kloss game.

Early on in her career, she helped Clarkson University earn back-to-back national championships in 2017 and 2018, captaining the team her senior year, and leading the nation’s defenders in plus-minus with +54.

Beyond the rink, Harmon’s focus is largely on fitness, family and her dog Harley.
