About

Kennedy Marchment is destined to be a fan favourite among the PWHL's Montréal fan base. The Courtice, Ontario native was selected 31st overall by Montréal in the inaugural PWHL Draft.

Having previously represented the Connecticut Whale in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), Marchment has made a name for herself within the New England sports scene with her rookie season.

After graduating from St. Lawrence University, Marchment started her pro career in Sweden where she earned 52 points in 36 games and was a finalist for the Forward of the Year Award the following season.

The right wing’s momentum continued to increase once she touched down in Hartford, Connecticut after being drafted 2nd overall by the PHF, where she tallied 33 points in 20 games.

Last season, Marchment set a new PHF record for the longest point streak in the league history, recording a point in 18 consecutive games. In only two seasons, she maintained the Whalers' all-time points and goals leader.

With a family tree of pros, including her late uncle and former NHL player Bryan Marchment, and cousin Mason Marchment of the Dallas Stars, Kennedy is one of the most exciting players coming through women’s hockey and is sure to be a household name.
