Julia Gosling is a force to be reckoned with, both on and off the ice. Selected sixth overall in the first round of the 2024 PWHL Draft, she signed a two-year contract with the Toronto Sceptres this past June, marking the next exciting chapter of her career. The 5ft 11” forward, a former captain of St. Lawrence University, put up an impressive 46 points in 39 games in her junior year, followed by a remarkable 51 points in her senior season before taking her talents to the pro level.
She’s represented Canada at two IIHF U18 World Championships, playing a key role in securing a bronze in 2018 and a gold in 2019, contributing 5 goals and 3 assists in those tournaments.
During the 2022-23 season, she earned Second-Team All-ECAC Hockey honours, and ranked 5th in the league in goals, 11th in assists, 9th in game-winning goals and 8th in overall points.
In September 2023, she was among the 46 players who were centralized to the Canadian national women’s hockey team fall camp and was a strong contender for the Patty Kazmaier Award.
Recognized as one of the next wave of PWHL stars, Gosling is sure to take the PWHL’s second season by storm and become a key member heading into the 2026 Olympics.
