About
Hannah Brandt has been a marquee figure in American hockey since 2011 and was recently selected 27th overall by Boston in the inaugural PWHL Draft.
An alumna of the University of Minnesota, Brandt made her first mark on the international stage in 2011 when she took home a gold medal at the U18 IIHF World Championships.
While playing for her hometown collegiate team, Brandt was a member of their 2013 NCAA title squad that maintained an undefeated record. She would go on to impress the hockey world throughout her undergraduate career as she tallied the most assists in Division 1 hockey and was the top goal scorer in 2014 and 2015.
Since graduating from school, Brandt has been a steadfast presence on Team USA, picking up three gold medals (2015, 2017, 2019) and two silver (2012, 2022) at the IIHF World Championships, in addition to a silver medal at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing and Olympic gold medal in 2018 in Pyeongchang.
Outside the rink, Brandt prioritizes continuing to open doors for girls in hockey as she contributes to USA Hockey’s dominant reputation.
